Family Day LONG WEEKEND is February 16th to 18th! I love how we have a long weekend in February. Finally… an extra day to relax or spend some time to hang with family.

If you’ve never been to FlyOver Canada, you should give it a try! It’s unreal!
They’ve got a special going on… you can soar over China with your family, see the great wall of China then take off again to experience Canada from high in the sky! Be sure to take advantage of the Local’s special when buying your tickets. More Info
Whistler BOBSLEDDING!
If you guys haven’t hit the slopes yet, most of our BC mountains will be having Family Day discounts and special activities. Whistler is offering a free Bobsled Experience for older kids with a paying adult. Bobsledding… holy! Hopefully, you’re not afraid of going FAST! More Info.
Britannia Mine – 50% off Admission
Just down the hill from Whistler, Britannia Mine in Squamish is offering 50% off admission! This is such a fun place for kids. You can ride an authentic mining train through the tunnels underground and go panning for gold! More Info.
Grouse Mountain
There are lots going on for Family Day at the peak of Vancouver! Free 1-hour Snowshoe Tours, meet Cleo the barn owl, roaming ice characters, skating and more! More info.
Mount Seymour
Kids ski or snowboard for free after 2:30pm with a paying adult. More info.
Family Day at the Cannery
In Richmond, the Georgia Cannery will be celebrating Family Day with free admission for kids/teens under 17! They’ll have guided tours, demos, activities and more. See how a cannery operated back in the day! More Info.
For a nice walk to feed the birds…
In Delta, the Bird Sanctuary is a beautiful place! Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 2-14. You can buy a packet of their birdseed to feed to the ducks and geese. More Info.
Also, check with your local community centre. Almost every community centre in the lower mainland is hosting a free family day event with crafts, activities and games.
