We have Jeff, the actor who grows his own vegetables, jars his own jam and is ready to get back into the dating scene for the first time in 6 years. You might recognize him from the Hallmark magic he’s been a part of…
The tough part of being an actor is you don’t have a set schedule, and if an audition comes up you gotta go for it because, you know, food and rent.
So Jeff needs a guy that gets a busy schedule. Enter Reese! He might not be in acting, but he’s an ER nurse who is in the process of becoming a full time fire fighter.
Reese has a sister that saw the post about Jeff and convinced Reese to sign up and give it a try. Reese liked what he saw!
What about Jeff made you want to sign up for 12 Dates in 12 Months?: I like that he is a down home country boy with family values and charming good looks. Im attracted to his level of drive, ambition, and that he is following his passion. I’m a homebody and love sitting down to home cooked meals, preferably not cooked by me, Ill clean up afterwards tho.
What would be some deal breakers for you in a relationship?: smokers, lack of spontaneity, lack of sense of adventure, and condescending to others
Tell us about your ideal first date would be with Jeff: I enjoy playful dates where we can have fun, allowing for lots of interaction. So maybe some air hockey and mini golf at Castle Fun Park, or having a fire and roasting marshmallows down by the river
They both enjoy playful dates and good food, and we think we have set up a wicked way for them to get to know each other. (We’ll let them plan their day at Castle Fun Park for date two!)
It will start with our new friends at Scenic Rush which may be the coolest thing we’ve done for a date yet. They provide an exotic car experience up the Sea to Sky in SWEET high end vehicles they actually get to drive. You can tell a lot about someone by how they drive, so we figure you would learn even more about them if they are driving a Ferrari, right?
Once they come back down – literally – from the drive, they’ll be hungry. So it’s off to the fantastic FINFOLK Restaurant in Vancouver. FINFOLK is run by massive fans of JR Country and they are going to do up a meal these foodies will love, and give them some drinks and time to get to know each other even more. They have live music too, so a dance-off isn’t out of the question…
They are both adventurous in life and love great local fresh food, making this the perfect spot for them. (And you if you are looking for a sweet date night…Just sayin’)
We will keep our eyes on these 2 over the next week, and then after they go out on the 27th, we’ll have them BOTH join us on the show and see how the date went, and if there is going to be another one. Stay tuned! +Docc and Nicole
