Just over a week after his arrest Morgan Wallen is back on top of the charts!
Morgan Wallen allegedly threw a chair off the rooftop of friend and collaborator Eric Church’s bar Chief’s on April 7th. The chair landed right in front of two police officers, and Wallen was arrested.
Following the arrest Wallen and Church’s song “Man Made A Bar” has skyrocketed to the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay charts! This duo has topped these charts many times. “Man Made A Bar” marks the 12th number 1 by Wallen and 11th by Church on the charts.
Their song “Man Made A Bar” details a man suffering from heartbreak needing a place to spend time and heal from the breakup.
“God made the world in seven short days / He said it was good, I bet it was great / Then God made a man, and man got lonely,” they sing on its chorus. “He said, ‘Please, Lord, if I could only / Have an angel to hold in my arms’ / So God made a girl, His best work of art / Oh, but He didn’t make no place to go when she breaks your hеart / So man made a bar.”
