Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa shared a performance together at this year’s ACM Awards.
The unlikely pair teamed up to do a duet of Stapleton’s hit “Think I’m in Love With You,” from his 2023 album HIgher. Their performance gained lots of praise and was the biggest surprise of the night!
On Monday (May 20th) the artists announced that they have released the performance titled “Think I’m In Love With You (with Dua Lipa) (Live From the 59th ACM Awards),” to all streaming platforms.
Dua Lipa was the one who reached out to Stapleton about the ACM collaboration. The popstar claims she is a huge fan of Stapleton and jumped at the opportunity to work with him.
When asked about Stapleton Dua said “He’s a master of his craft, and I’ve just been a fan of his for so long, and I’ve had the opportunity to just sit down and brainstorm ideas on how we can reimagine the song for tonight, and bring something really special and unique…it’s one of those moments in my life where I’m so happy to be a musician and be creating something and doing something that feels so exciting.”
