Ingrid Andress Responds To Criticism After National Anthem Performance
Country singer Ingrid Andress is facing criticism after her performance of the U.S National Anthem.
Ingrid Andress was the anthem singer for the MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington Texas on Monday (July 16th).
The 32 year old singer grew up in Highland Ranch, Colorado and was heavily involved in the baseball community. Her father was a professional baseball coach for the Colorado Rockies.
Her unusual version of the anthem went viral following the game on Monday. Many fans and professionals are leaping to Andress’ defense after the disastrous performance.
Many speculate the country singer may have had trouble hearing herself, the audio mixing of the performance went wrong, or it could have been nerves.
