Erich Church performs new song, “Why Not Me” at the Grand Ole Opry

Last night at the Grand Ole Opry Church gave an emotional speech, talking about his performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival and the terrible shooting that took place there on Sunday.

He makes mention of Heather Melton, who lost her husband Sonny at the Las Vegas festival, who also happened to be a massive Church fan. In fact, Church dedicated his new song, ‘Why Not Me’ to Sonny. The couple were suppose to be at the Opry last night for Church’s performance, which he makes mention of before performing the new song.
