Calling All Lonely BC Farmers!!

CTV has a new reality dating show coming “Farming for Love” and they need BC farmers looking for love to sign up.

Here’s how it works:

“Five Canadians searching for their soulmates open up their farms – and their hearts – to a select group of urban singles. As they live and work together, the daters must adjust to a new lifestyle, and immerse themselves in a series of challenges, group activities, and intimate one-on-one dates with the goal of finding their one true love”

There are already versions of this show around the world, including the popular The Farmer Needs a Wife on Australian TV:

The Canadian French-language version, L’AMOUR EST DANS LE PRÉ, is a long-running success as well.

Are you a farmer and looking for love? If so, follow the steps below BEFORE April 15th:

Step 1:  You will need to make sure you are eligible to participate. Then you will need to read and agree to the Online Agreement – Terms and Conditions located on this site and completely fill out the Casting Application. For more information, click on Eligibility.

Step 2:  Take an up-close photo of yourself. You should save the photo to your computer so that it is ready when you fill out the Online Application.

Step 3 (optional): Make a video of yourself telling us and/or showing us why you should be a participant on “Farming for Love”. Please ensure your video does not include any background music.

Step 4:  You will need to upload your photo and optional video as part of the online application process.

Step 5:  The “Farming for Love” Casting Team will contact you if you move forward in the casting process.
