This is our tiny, tiny kitchen. Seriously, counter space... where did you go? As you can see, with a dish rack (no dishwasher unfortunately) and a toaster, we have about 1-2 square feet of counter space, and that's being generous. We have little to no space to prep on, or even cook, with our apartment sized stove. My wife and I stack plates and dishes on top of one another trying to make things work. You know the saying "too many cooks in the kitchen"? That's our kitchen all the time with even just one person in it. Our kitchen is the perfect size for mini Matt Damon from the movie 'Downsizing'.

We have the space for a much bigger kitchen, to add more cabinets and a large island, we just haven't had the money to take on a full kitchen renovation. We've been living with what's there for over 5 years now and could really, really use an update! Winning this prize would be SUCH a weight lifted and it would really empower us to take advantage of what a full kitchen could be!
