Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes stunning cherry blossoms that liven up Vancouver. The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is back for its most exciting year yet, with a dynamic lineup of programming and events across the city from March 26th to April 28th.
Vancouver’s favourite springtime events will be back, including The Big Picnic, Blossoms After Dark, Sakura Days Japan Fair, Tree Talks & Walks, Bike the Blossoms, Haiku Invitational, Pop-Ups, Workshops, and more! Many events are free and accessible for all ages. Along with returning favourites, this year’s festival brings a brand-new signature event, Blossom Block Party.
The VCBF invites attendees to celebrate Vancouver’s cherry tree heritage through accessible arts, culture, and nature programming in the city’s parks and neighbourhoods. The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is a charitable not-for-profit organization that educates and engages diverse communities through accessible local arts and culture activities that celebrate the fragile beauty of the cherry blossom. Its events celebrate nature, creativity, and Vancouver’s cherry tree heritage.
“We are so excited for the biggest Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival the city has seen to date. After having welcomed over 75,000 attendees during our 2024 Festival Season, we are delighted to be able to bring even more events to celebrate not just Vancouver’s iconic cherry blossoms, but also our community and lively neighbourhoods,” says Andrea Arnot, VCBF Executive Director. “We are particularly excited by the addition of a brand-new signature event, the Blossom Block Party, developed with our friends at Public Disco, and hope to see the same excitement as we do for our other long-standing events! As always, we thank our Presenting Sponsor TD Ready Commitment, along with Destination Vancouver and Stay Vancouver Hotels, our Premier Partners, sponsors and community stakeholders for making our series of events possible.”
